ECO-PSYCHOLOGY IS THE studY OF the powerful link between human wellbeing and the natural world, revealing how deeply nature influences our thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
ITβS a field that advocates for a holistic approach to mental health - one that involves reintegrating nature-based experiences into our lives.

Eco-psychology recognises what I call the happy person, happy planet cycle. Because nature makes us feel good, the more connected to it we feel and therefore the stronger our resolve to protect it.
Itβs about how nature benefits us AND how we can protect and sustain nature. It recognises that human wellbeing is deeply intertwined with the health of the planet. Creating a healthier relationship with nature can lead to better outcomes both for us and for the planet.

AND YET, WE SPEND 93% OF OUR TIME inDOORS, MOSTLY STARING AT SCREENS. in the rush of everyday life, itβs easy to neglect nature or approach it with an agenda - to exercise, get from one place to another etc. but weβre now exeperiencing a nature deficit, which has most of us feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed and burnt out.

My 1:1 and group sessions can be done in-person or online. In-person sessions take place in beautiful nature spots in london and the surrounding counties. For online sessions you dial into an online audio call from your preferred nature spot.

Not exactly. While I do use some therapy techniques, my approach is more about proactive wellbeing. Instead of waiting for challenges to arise, we focus on building resilience and preparing for life's stresses in advance. You wonβt need to attend weekly sessions or sit in a clinical office; this is about integrating wellness into your life in a more flexible and natural way.

I believe in the philosophy that βthereβs no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong outfits.β We make sure we have what we need to embrace the elements of nature (the right shoes, coat, sunglasses, water bottle etc). In dangerous weather conditions, we agree to reschedule.
